Sometimes a brand comes from nowhere, takes over the world, sits back and looks a little bit smug; that's exactly what Kiko Cosmetics have done in 2014. The Italian brand have launched so many great products that I'm a bit bored of praising them, but they've done it again with their 'Luxurious' makeup collection that really is a little bit special. Although there are a few other bits and bobs worth checking out, for me this bronzer-highlighter compact and accompanying face brush are definitely the highlight. Kiko have a knack for producing makeup that's not only incredibly functional, but lavish to look at; this compact shines bright like a diamond and includes four different tones for a super natural finish. Although most of us pass-by the bronzers in the colder months, they can help to subtly contour and add warmth to our complexion if applied in the right tone; these shades are very light and wearable, mixed in with a dusting of purple highlighter to help catch the light and add definition.

The compact is beautifully constructed, offering something a little special to whip out of your handbag; it would make a stunning festive gift (yes I am talking Christmas presents already) or even a little payday indulgence for yourself. The vintage style is timeless, while the shades included could be used all year round without a problem. In addition, the accompanying super-soft face brush is too cute for words - especially as it comes with its own little zipped case to protect it from dust and grime when floating around your handbag. If you don't want to take it out with you, the mini bag is perfect for carrying essentials such as lipbalm and hair grips... (Like you needed any further justification!)
Although I adore the compact, I have to admit that the cuteness and practicality of the brush and mini bag grabbed my attention first. I can't tell you how many brushes I've ruined by chucking them in a bag; this ensures you and your tools will look flawless for as long as possible. The brush itself is super soft and great for buffing powder into skin, as well as touching-up on the go. Although the square base isn't the best shape to grip, there's enough of it to ensure you can apply the bronzer with ease. What do you think of this latest collection from Kiko Cosmetics?
