A Day In The Life Of LBQ (With CollectPlus Delivery Service)

Running a blog is so much fun, but incredibly busy. Although I spend part of my week working from home on forthcoming blog posts, brand negotiations and research for new ideas, I spend two to three days in London. It gives me a chance to meet with brands, find out about new launches, catch up with other bloggers over coffee and generally feel like I'm part of something that extends further than my front door! Because I'm always so busy and never work to a set schedule, it's a nightmare getting parcels delivered when there's someone into receive them. I'm forever getting little red cards or notifications from couriers telling me they've left a package in a shop down the road that's only open three afternoons a week. That's why I love CollectPlus - I can get my online shopping delivered to a newsagent close to my flat (or even on my way home through London,) making it so much simpler to order a dress for a fancy party when I've no time to do anything other than click on ASOS. CollectPlus is really a modern woman's best friend.

The lovely guys at CollectPlus had the pleasure (ahem) of following me around for a day, seeing how many meetings, coffee breaks and launches I could fit into a few hours... As well as understanding how easy their service is to use if you're a busy woman that can't do without a new pair of shoes. The result is this video, following me from early in the morning with slightly questionable hair, right through to my journey home where I pop into a shop on my way back to Marylebone to pick up yet another ASOS order.

So what is CollectPlus? It's the largest store-based parcel service in the UK, designed to make your life easier; no more wasted Saturdays or lunchtime queues, just the freedom to get on with your day. With a network of over 5,500 local stores in the UK (open until late and including chains such as ASDA, Costcutter, Spar, Nisa and local newsagents,) CollectPlus make sending and collecting parcels quick and easy. With stores including ASOS, House of Fraser, River Island, Very and John Lewis all signed up, you can get your online shopping delivered to a place that's convenient to you when it's convenient to you. There's no need to queue up with your red card and waste endless hours claiming your wares, as you can just pop into your local CollectPlus point with your confirmation email on your way home.

If you decide to return your purchases it's even easier - just use the label included with your order and take the parcel back to your local CollectPlus point. It totally removed the need to queue up for an hour on a Saturday morning, panicking that an ill-fitting pair of shoes gets back by the returns deadline. It's so easy! Why not have a look to see where your local CollectPlus point is on their website and start using this fab service right in time for Christmas? In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this little peak into my life and finding out what it's really like to be LBQ.

This is a sponsored post in partnership with Collect Plus - but you really need to give the service a whirl, because it could save you serious postage dramas!
