Getting the right shampoo and conditioner is essential, but styling products can help perfect your style and ensure it stays that way for longer. Although Lee Stafford aren't normally a brand I would even look at during my regular Boots visit, with their Argan Oil 'from Morocco' range they've got me a little bit hooked. This styling range includes an Anti-Frizz Serum Spray, Flexible Hold Hairspray and Moisture Injection Dry Conditioner that combine to provide you with the tools to perfect that 'second day' hair. Argan Oil is extracted from the inside of a nut that only grows on trees native to Morocco. It contains many of the ingredients associated with repairing hair and creating a luxurious, healthy feeling. The women of Morocco have used the Argan Oil as part of their daily routine for hundreds of years, particularly in the fight against hydration, but now it's become an on-trend ingredient that appears to be the magical answer to our woes.

I do get frustrated with brands and products that claim to contain Moroccan Argan Oil, when most of the time it's a low percentage that has very little positive impact on the hair. Although this range prides itself on that ingredient, to be honest it makes little or no difference to the result - it's simply a story to connect all the products together. However, the three products stand up well on their own to offer a great styling solution that provides hold without weight.
The Anti-Frizz Serum Spray is great as a finishing touch to hair, when you've just washed and styled it. Providing a hint of shine and protection to the surface of hair, it helps to create a smooth result and protect against the daily challenges that can see our barnets ruined by 11am. Although this isn't a wonder-product, it does provide an extremely lightweight finish that's perfect for fine hair or textured styles. The Flexible Hold Hairspray provides a great amount of hold to hair, without the dreaded 'crispy' feeling that's so often associated with hairspray; it's great at taming flyaways and delivers a delicate mist to the hair, rather than a hardcore power spray that provides more product than you need.
Finally, the Moisture Injection Dry Conditioner is effectively a dry shampoo with all the bad bits taken out. The formula is clear and lightweight, unlike traditional dry shampoos that are white and powdery; this ensures your 'second day style' feels as smooth as it did on the first day, without the dreaded white marks peppering your hair. It's great at reinvigorating hair and providing a moisture boost when hair starts to lose its 'oomph', particularly throughout the day when you need a top up. The great thing about this is that you can't really overload the hair either, unlike so many others that can make you look like you've been out in a snowstorm.
These products provide a pretty good result with a reasonable price tag attached, making them great additions to your product directory if you're just after fabulous 'second day' hair. Although they won't magically transform you to a post-hairdresser glow, they will aid styling and provide lightweight hold and style without the excess texture.
