Royal Albert have been creating intricate and beautiful teacups for over 100 years; whilst the Royal Albert brand was created in 1904, its roots are to be found in the Albert Works, built in 1896. The Albert Works commemorated the birth of Prince Albert in 1895, who later became the Duke of York and King George VI, the father of the Queen. The Albert Works was owned by Thomas Wild and his sons, who specialised in affordable tea, breakfast and dessert wares with floral designs. Their story is alive and well today, as Royal Albert continue to produce delicate tea wear - including this adorable pink tea set that I have to give away on day twenty one of #LBQadvent. I've got a fabulous mint green teacup for myself and adore the intricate design and uniqueness it brings to my home. You can read my post here, but why not see if you can win this striking tea set to start 2014 off on an elegant foot?
