Autumn fashion doesn't really match with bright and bold nails, so the hunt is always on for the perfect complimentary berry shades to take us through to next Spring. If there's one colour that I have (too many to count) duplicates of, then it's a dark red-purple berry shade that just seems to go with everything. I've tried every brand going: from Bourjois and Nails Inc, to Revlon and Rituals, always seeking the next polish that will change my life for the better. When I discovered Nailberry I didn't have much hope that this unknown brand would be able to compete with the best of them, but compete it most certainly did.

Nailberry nail varnish is a 'Four Free' nail polish, something that's becoming even more popular amongst nail enthusaists. Free from Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP and Camphor, the formula minimises potential irritation and dryness of the nail bed, as well as preventing eye conditions that can be caused when touching our eyes over 200 times a day. (With all that contact it's no surprise that eye irritation and contact dermatitis is on the increase, with nail enamel considered a significant cause.) The colours within the Nailberry range don't just cover the fruity spectrum, but these shades make the perfect addition to an Autumn nail wardrobe.
The formula itself is highly pigmented, ensuring that you get a true colour result in only one coat - something I was truly not expecting. It's super shiny and provides a flawless finish, drying quickly to leave an aesthetically pleasing talon that many other brands (in my experience) simply can't live up to. I love being proved wrong or discovering a product that's really worth its price tag; Nailberry is definitely a brand that suprised me and I would recommend splashing out on. Although the polish didn't last longer than a couple of days, the quick drying and flawless formula trumps that issue: you've got the convenience factor that allows you to apply and dash off without a care.
