My Beauty Lust List: Wishing For A Winning Lottery Ticket

I've often dreamed about what I'd do if I won the lottery. After the inevitable 'buy a house, go traveling and give the family a lump sum' obligations, my mind turns to fashion and beauty. (What I would do with a celebrity sized bank account!) It's then that I start to formulate my beauty lust list, the products I would splash out on if money really were no object. This list hasn't been created overnight (it's carefully formulated and revised any number of times,) but I think it's ready to be shared. Here is my beauty lust list.... Warning: This list is still subject to change at short notice.

YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick£24.50
I am an absolute sucker for a red lipstick and YSL's Rouge Volupte in Red Muse has such an excellent reputation preceding it, it's taking prime position on my beauty lust list. With a creamy and moisturising texture, as well as containing SPF 15, I can't wait for the day I finally try this gorgeous little number.

YSL Touche Eclat£25.00
This is not going to be an exclusively YSL lust list, but Touche Eclat is high up there next to its lippy counterpart. Aiming to brighten darker areas, including the corners of the nose, mouth and around the eyes (and not to act as a cover-up as many people mistakenly believe) this is the sort of product that can really lift your complexion. It's one of the most popular luxury beauty items on the market and has a price tag to match, but I'm beginning to think this is a real investment product.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant£25.00
I often associate Elizabeth Arden with the older lady – perhaps because I've seen it on my Grandma's dressing table for years – but the Eight Hour Cream Skin protectant has been dubbed as a must have by many a beauty connoisseur. It aims to smooth roughness, as well as soothing redness and minor skin irritations, making it sound like it could be a total lifesaver.

MAC Strobe Cream£23.50
I've been led to believe that if I'm ever back stage at a fashion show where MAC are in charge of the make-up, this little product will be poking out of every make-up bag. This cream also aims to be an all round skin fix, but presents itself as a moisturiser with added luminosity. MAC promise that this cream will 'enhance the effects of light on all skin and in all lighting conditions from sunlight to spotlight.' Sounds like a winner.

NARS Cosmetics The Multiple£30.00
I'd take pretty much any cosmetic from NARS if it was offered to me, but The Multiple is a multi-purpose stick for eyes, cheeks, lips and body. Whether it's for contouring, accents or dynamic highlighting, this product does pretty much what it says on the tin, offering many uses in one little stick. It comes in 16 shades too, so you're almost certain to find one that matches your skin tone.

Tom Ford Ombre Eye Colour£50.00
Oh man, Tom Ford cosmetics make me want to blow my bank account and buy them all. Let's face it, with these price tags that wouldn't be hard to do, but the ombre eye-colour palette has three shades and textures which look like they'll create the perfect smokey, sensual and sultry eye. If Tom Ford is as good at cosmetics as he is at fashion, which I suspect he is, this could be an absolute treat.

Benefit Watt's Up£24.50
I love, love, love a dewy complexion created with a combination of foundation and highlighter, so Benefit's Watt's Up is certainly up there on my lust list. Offering a 'delicate champagne glow', a cream-to-powder finish and a wow factor result, this product sounds like it's right up my street. I will be asking Father Christmas for this one I think.

Dior Sparkling Nail Powders Kit£32.21
Lastly, a glittery nail is one of my favourite things when the weather's dull. It sounds silly but something as simple as glitter at my fingertips can really lighten my mood, and it looks like Dior have created the crème of the crop with their Sparkling Nail Powders Kit. With two sparkling colour choices and an adhesive base coat, this set has everything to create a celebrity style manicure at home. Sounds like the haute couture of nails to me.

Until the day I win the lottery, I can but dream about these products. But a little dreaming never hurt anyone. Which products are on your investment beauty lust list?
