Now Available At Neal's Yard: Superfoods!

Earlier on this year Neal's Yard released their fabulous Healthy Foods book, which provided an education on the benefits of certain ingredients to our lifestyle. What better way to bring this to life even further than with the introduction of Superfoods to their boutiques and shops? Available now in their Covent Garden boutique (and hopefully more soon,) you can get your hands on all kinds of fabulous supplements and ingredients that will have you bouncing off the walls with energy and bursting with radiance. Here are some of the great things you can get your hands on...


Baobab: The Baobab fruit contains fourteen essential vitamins and minerals. It's almost 50% fibre and has one of the highest antioxidant capacities of any fruit in the world. This gives it an amazing range of benefits, from helping with energy metabolism to improving skin health.

Mulberries: Low in calories, Mulberries also contain antioxidants, minerals and vitamins that are essential for optimum health. They also provide potential anti-ageing properties, are an excellent source of Vitamin C.

Bee Pollen: Bee pollen is more rich in proteins than any animal source. It's also extremely helpful in treating allergies, providing energy, soothing skin irritations and aiding digestion.

If you're not quite sure how to use all the ingredients, then the book contains some fabulously simple recipes, as well as recipe cards being available at the point of purchase. I've discovered the best healthy afternoon snack, which basically involves melting a load of dark chocolate and chucking loads of berries and goodies into a bowl. You get to eat your way healthy while still enjoying a bit of chocolate!
