CULT AMERICAN FRAGRANCE BRAND 'BODY FANTASIES' LANDS IN THE UK

Although we're definitely spoiled for choice when it comes to beauty products, British consumers do have a tendency to feel a little hard done by when we can't get one of our favourite American treats in the UK. Slowly some of the most popular brands are being made available to us Brits (mostly thanks to international shipping,) but I'm sure there would be a stampede if even a handful were to be made available on every high street. Although I hadn't heard of cult American brand Body Fantasies before, a quick google and search online illustrates that it's got a place in the hearts of teens across the world - but it's also a firm favourite of many older women who just want a simple and affordable fragrance to pop in their bag. Their sweet, flirty and bold fragrances definitely won't be for everybody, but I can see why these jewel tones bottles have been so incredibly popular across the pond. Well, hallelujah, because Body Fantasies is coming to the UK!

Developed by leading designer fragrance perfumers, Body Fantasies offers a new collection of body sprays that use a higher concentration of quality fragrance oils than most other spritzes to ensure they last on the skin. This affordable, fun, brightly coloured and feminine brand is a firm favourite in the US, it being named the number one selling perfume body spray in 2015, and is often bought in its droves by UK beauty enthusiasts when they visit American shores. Thankfully (even if just to save on luggage space,) four fragrances are launching initially in the UK - including Pink Grapefruit Fantasy, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Pink Vanilla Kiss Fantasy and Twilight Mist. Superdrug are set to take more favourites over the coming months, so if your top pick isn't in that line-up it could well be soon.

Each generously sized bottle provides around 500 sprays, meaning you certainly get value for money; at £3.99 a bottle you can afford to buy all four and still have change for a lipstick. The closest competitor we have in the UK would definitely be Impulse, which has somewhat of a teenage market; I used to love spritzing a little Impulse or Charlie Red on my school uniform after gym glass, but there's no reason why this format of scent can't be equally as appropriate for fully grown adults! My aunt let me onto her biggest vice when stocking up on four cans of Vanilla Musk a few months ago... So maybe it's about time we embraced body sprays and spritzes again, instead of turning our noses up! A pump of Marc Jacobs or Jo Malone may be great in the morning, but do you really want to carry that around all day or risk losing it in the gym?

When was the last time you used a body spray? Have you heard of Body Fantasies, or am I just making you reminisce about Charlie Red and Impulse?
