Certain fragrances instantly transport me back to times gone by, bringing happy memories to the surface that I'd pushed to the back of my mind. Chloe's iconic first scent reminds me of girls nights out and getting ready at my friend's house, styling our hair together and picking outfits while sipping wine in anticipation of the boys we'd chat to that night. She always wore Chloe (and still does,) so it instantly reminds me of those great nights when we had not a care in the world. To me, Chloe embodies a carefree and happy attitude; it's elegant and sophisticated, but still full of youth and life. I adore everything the brand launches and know I can rely on them to take me from warm spring mornings right through to summer nights along the river sipping on a glass of Pimms. This April they're launching three of their fabulous scents in mini bottles that are perfectly sized for both popping in your bag, and slipping into your hand luggage - at 20ml they're way under the airport limit on liquids, meaning you never have to panic about packing a fragrance again.

The first fragrance of the fashion powerhouse was Chloe Signature, described as "a bouquet of florals composed of peony, lychee and freesia, refreshing notes of rose, magnolia and lily of the valley, whilst amber and cedar wood are at the base." It's truly unique and embodies everything the brand stands for. For something a little fresher, L’Eau De Chloe "suggests rare elegance and surprising modernity to create free, spontaneous, radiant femininity." It's perfect for a bright sunny day or for helping to refreshing your senses before you walk out the door. Roses De Chloe is a little more romantic, thanks to the inclusion of rose. Described as "a sensation derived from the bergamot, which is gradually joined by a heart of damascena rose essence, modernised with a magnolia accord and the trail of white musk and amber," this is my current favourite of the three.
If you've always wanted to try Chloe fragrances but couldn't justify the price point, then these 20ml bottles provide the perfect introduction at almost half the price. Although the price per ml is much higher, you're paying for the opportunity to test something without committing to a huge bottle you may never get through. Similarly, these are perfectly sized for popping in your bag if you like to top up your scent on the go; I hate carrying fragrance because the bottles are so big, but these make it a real option - even in a clutch! As we approach the summer holiday season we're starting to think about our hand luggage essentials, or what we can fit in a small case and get through customs to avoid any bag handling charges; as these are 20ml they're the perfect size for taking away with you and remove any worry about whether your favourite scent will be confiscated. This mini collection is such a great idea and I really hope more brands embrace it; it's much more sensible than having fifty huge bottles of perfume on your dresser...
