It's been three years, but finally Deciem are able to launch the products they always wanted to. Due to a non-compete agreement with the founder's previous partner (and founder of Indeed Labs,) the powerhouse of beauty (behind everything from Fountain supplements and Grow Gorgeous, to Hand Chemistry and Inhibitif) has finally launched these two fabulous skincare products to add to their ever-growing repertoire. Hylamide SubQ was definitely worth waiting for, as both the anti-ageing serum and targeted eye formula have left my skin glowing after only a few weeks. They both contain a highly active concentrate of advanced hyaluronic complexes, next-generation peptides and technology to target rehydration both on and below the skin's surface, while visibly helping to improve lines, wrinkles, sagging skin and textural damage

The technology behind these two products is immense, so I won't bore you with a science lesson that neither of us fully understand - however, it's well worth checking out their website for a full explanation of ingredients and expected results. In a nut shell, Deciem have developed technology that allows their ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin's surface to ensure maximum hydration and an improvement in overall texture. After only two weeks of using these in conjunction with my usual moisturiser, I've noticed a definite improvement in the texture of my skin as well as my plumpness around my cheeks.
As soon as I apply these incredibly lightweight formulas my skin feels instantly plump and full of life; the only thing I can compare it to is after a full hour of facial pummeling that leaves my cheeks almost up around my eyebrows! The result is fabulous and lasts for a good few hours afterwards too. I adore the texture of these products as they're in no way sticky, greasy or oily - just light and runny creamy-gels that your skin absorbs within seconds to leave no residue or detectable product on the surface. If you struggle applying skincare under your makeup, for fear of it slipping off or caking, then these provide a brilliant solution; the result feels like you're not wearing anything at all, while still providing skincare benefits over the course of the day.
Not only does Hylamide SubQ contain potent ingredients that really do work, but innovative delivery systems to ensure they get to where they need to be. So many products contain such a small amount of active ingredient, or a delivery system that prevents it from actually getting to the point that requires a little help, so it's great to see real innovation from this new sub-brand. Deciem have a knack of developing the previously-thought-impossible - creating stable and viable formulas that can be sold at an affordable price. This is just another way they're helping women (and men) to look after their skin without charging them a fortune; if you're in your 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s, then I'd definitely recommend you invest in these little pots and treat your skin to a mini revolution. At £53.00 for both, it's money well spent.
The Hylamide SubQ Anti-Age& Eye Advanced Serums are available from Boots, priced £30.00 & £23.00.
