NEW Ciate Nail Treatment Collection: A Workout For Your Nails

It's easy to get distracted by pretty polishes, rainbows of colour and textures that make our nails feel all bumpy, when we really should be looking after what's going on underneath. Nail treatments and pampering products have always been a passion point of mine, as I continually hunt for the magical formulas that will turn my weak and brittle nails into something worthy of a hand model. Ciate may be incredibly well known for their innovative collections and ability to push the boundaries no matter what they do, but this spring sees the launch of a treatment range that aims to give your nails a bit of a workout. Ciate’s new and improved offering contains powerful botanical extracts, exotic oils and advanced vitamin complex’s to achieve complete nail satisfaction.

Including an overnight treatment, cuticle oil, nail strengthener, cuticle pen, speed-dry top coat, nurturing base coat, matte top coat, correction pen and even a nail 'toner' to remove any residue and ensure perfect polish adhesion, this ten-piece collection provides everything you need for the perfect manicure. Packaged in the sweetest little boxes, illustrated with cute-as-a-button pictures, these are more than just run-of-the-mill bits and bobs you can pick up in the budget beauty aisle of Superdrug. All ten products are enriched with ingredients including caviar, garlic, chaulmoogra oil extract, collagen, vitamin E, bamboo extract, marula oil and lotus flower; they've been designed to specifically treat the underlying problems associated with dry, brittle, chipping and discoloured nails so you can get on with your life without worrying.

I haven't had a chance to try all of these completely (or put them to the test for an adequate time to report back on their long-term effectiveness,) but my initial impressions are that this is a fabulous range that I'm glad landed on my desk. The overnight treatment is already a firm favourite, helping me to awake with smoother and my hydrated nails, while the nail hardener instantly helps to strengthen nails and provide a smooth base on which to paint. I love the idea of a nail toner (how often does your polish turn bumpy or inconsistent because there's a touch of remover or oil on your nail bed?) which can be applied and swiped off in a second, while the nail pens provide precision and effectiveness in one.

There's so much goodness to choose from in this collection, it's hard to know where to start - but suffice to say that nail care has once again become a pleasure and something I'm happy to integrate into my routine. All ten of the products within the collection are priced at £12.00, making it easy to navigate and shop too. With Ciate's reputation as such a nail specialist, and now Olivia Palermo as their brand ambassador, there's no doubt that this range is going to kick some serious butt when in launches in only a few weeks time.

Are you excited to try the new Ciate nail treatments?

The Ciate Nail Treatment Collection launches March 2015. Every product is priced £12.00.
