Woah, well that was rather unexpected. Yesterday I tuned in to watch the live streaming of the The P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards 2013, one of the highlights of the journalism calendar. As a little old beauty blogger blabbing about lipgloss, I was utterly astounded to be nominated - so you can imagine how thrilled I was to actually win! It's a huge privaledge for me to win the title of 'Best Indie Blog: Beauty', especially as the awards are judged by an amazing panel of experts that include writing and beauty legends. Judge Adam Reed said about LBQ: "I really enjoyed reading this informative, positive and well thought out blog. She obviously loves all things beauty, and the information is well researched and considered." Awww thanks! Here's a sneaky look at my amazing trophy that will be proudly placed on my shelf that's fastly expanding.... I can officially call myself a multi-award winning blogger now *wink wink* Thanks for all your support over the last three years, it means more than I could ever express in words.
