Right now I feel an immense sense of pride for being part of a beauty blogging community that's really pushing the boundaries. We've had Tanya Burr nails, Zoella beauty, dry shampoos from A Model Recommends, my very own makeup bag collection and now the woman that started it all has teamed up with a British institution. There's no doubt that Jane Cunningham, or British Beauty Blogger as she's known to most, has made huge waves in the world of beauty - both through her role as a journalist and blogger. She's always championed blogs (believing that this was where the future of the industry lay, before anyone else really understood us,) and has now cemented her place through a collaboration with Marks & Spencer. Her debut makeup collection lands this week into stores nationwide, bringing a little piece of her into your makeup bag.

Jane is well known for her no-hold barred approach to beauty, so it's great to see her launching a capsule collection that will appeal universally to beauty lovers. Including an eyeshadow palette, nail collection, trio of mini lip crayons and an amazing spectrum of eyeliner colours, her collection has been illustrated by the same guy behind her iconic blog design. She's been working on this for months - and you can tell. The results are pretty fabulous, while still being extrememely affordable.

My personal favourites include the collection of eight kohl eyeliner pencils, all of which are incredibly wearable shades. I love the fact there are four different dark shades for subtle changes in your vamped-up look, as well as some delicious blues and a couple of paler shades to highlight the inner corners of the eye. The pencils are pigmented, soft and can be smudged to create a smokey eye with ease. Considering it's only £15.00 for the complete set of eight, it's a bargain not to be missed.

Furthermore, the trio of mini lip crayons is utterly delicious. I love the mini sizes, which are perfect for popping in your handbag or clutch, and the pigment is exceptional - really bright, bold and glossy without being drying. These really build a bridge between lipstick and lipbalm, providing something incredibly wearable in three statement shades. Again, at £15.00 for the trio they're incredibly affordable.

I'm really proud of Jane and how she's collaborated with a brand while still retaining creative control. I know this wasn't an easy project, but it's one that's paid off dividends - I can see the M&S customers lapping these collections up and mums across the country finding them in their stockings come Christmas. They're only available for a limited time, so if you want to get your hands on them be quick... They'll be in stores nationwide from this week.

The British Beauty Blogger collection is available exclusively from Marks & Spencer. Prices start from £14.00.
