I've always had a little love affair with DKNY Be Delicious. It was the first fragrance I truly chose for myself, reminding me of youthful carefree days and fun times with friends. I still wear it practically every week, returning to the scent I know like an old friend I can rely on. Even years after its first launch, the original scent is still relevant and representative of a modern woman - especially as DKNY continue to innovate and put twists on the apple base to produce limited edition alternatives. Launching just in time for the festive season, this new trio of scents has a shimmering edge - the limited edition Be Delicious Sparkling Apple collection is inspired by the glitz and glamour of parties.

Be Delicious Sparkling Apple (green) is very similar to the original, but with just a hint of added magnolia wood, sandalwood and amber for a deeper and more party appropriate scent. Golden Delicious Sparkling Apple (gold) contains notes of ginger root and plum, providing a much richer and sensual scent that perfectly complements the original; it's personally my favourite of the three as it reminds me of the scent I love so much but is perfectly suited for the evening. Be Delicious Fresh Blossom Sparkling Apple (pink) is a much girlier perfume, including notes of tangerine, pear, white woods, musk and floral attributes; the result is uplifting and comforting, without being overpowering. All three will definitely appeal to fans of the original, as well as bringing in new wearers via the incredible packaging.
Not only are all three scents decorated with a subtle glittering top, but it twists to the side and is removed to reveal the atomiser. Unlike the original design, which contains a button within the cap, these are designed to feel a little more luxurious and create a real feeling of anticipation. I normally hate anything glittery or girlie, but these appealed to even my own inner magpie - they look truly stunning on a dressing table and really provide an exquisite update to the scent I know and love.
