The long anticipated launch of Majorette has finally arrived, with Benefit launching their first forray into cream blush. Described as a 'booster blush' that's designed to amplify your natural flush, Majorette can be used alone or under your normal blusher to add a subtle warmth to skin. It's incredibly lightweight, the cream-to-powder finish adding just a touch of colour upon first application, ensuring it can be built up to the desired result or buffed into skin for a really natural finish. I'm a big fan of cream blushers, especially during those transitional months where you're not quite ready for a full-on pink cheek but have already hung-up your bronzer; this little tub provides just the right texture and colour for practically any complexion.

I'm not too convinced about wearing this under regular powder blush (who has the time or patience?) but it is a great little product and a great first step into a new world of blushers from Benefit, the brand that has made their mark using the category - blush boxes and cheek tints are no doubt what they're known for. Majorette is packaged in the most delightful box I've ever seen, designed to look like a drum and opening to reveal a little mirror and domed blush. I'm so pleased they've replaced their card boxes with something a little more sturdy, Majorette being held in a solid plastic compact that's much more handbag appropriate than their previous launches... How many times have you smashed a blush in your bag or thrown away a tatty old box that still had half a pan of makeup? Although this is an eye-watering £23.50 (*fans self*) it is beautiful and the texture is so easy to use, making it one of my new faves and the perfect shade to add to my repertoire.
