As a blogger, I spend my life in coffee shops catching up on emails when I've only ten minutes to spare. Between meetings and launches I have to squeeze in as much as possible, while attempting not to get in a flap and ruin my hair. To simultaneously keep me looking and feeling great (as well as being at my most effective,) I've developed a little 'blogging on the go' kit that pops into my bag and keeps me stress-free. Want a sneaky peek at what's inside?
1. Roger & Gallet Hand Cream (£5.00)
I've mentioned these little tubes of loveliness before, but they're really great at adding a hint of moisture to overworked hands without leaving gresy residue. They're small enough to pop in my bag, look fab and smell delightful - this little tube of Rose cream reminds me of Turkish Delight and comforting hot chocolates.
2. Aveda Dry Remedy Oil (£17.50)
Possibly my most loved hair product of recent years, this goes everywhere with me. Unlike other serums which are heavy and tend to wear hair down, this is super lightweight and adds just a touch of definition to ends and flyaways. It's great at touching-up hair throughout the day, especially as the oil is 'dry' and absorbs into the hair within seconds to leave it looking and feeling hydrated.
3. Charge Card ($29.00)
My iPhone is forever running out of battery, what with me faffing about on about ten different social networks and apps multiple times throughout the day. This little card charges up your phone from a USB port, great for when you're about to get on a train and have hardly any juice left: you can just plug it into your laptop and keep on working, safe in the knowledge your phone will still be useable when you need to make an urgent call.
4. Cyber Clean Touch Screen Cleaner (£15.00)
I've written a whole post before on how your smartphone could be causing you spots, but this little gadget is really handy to have on the go. There's an anti-bacterial solution hidden inside, which you just spritz onto the phone's screen surface and wipe off with the buffer. It leaves your phone germ and makeup free, great if you've been replying to emails and then itching your face!
5. 2True 8hr Power Lip Colour (£5.00)
This lip colour packs some serious punch. Super cheap and amazingly pigmented, it offers a really strong colour result that stays put - even while sipping on your Starbucks. Although it's quite sticky, it's great for when you've got a meeting and don't want to worry about your lipstick transferring and leaving you with only the dreaded pink outline.
6. Sage 'Pearl' Fragrance Roll-On (£30.00)
I don't have space to carry massive bottles of perfume, so this handy oil-based scent is perfect for a little pick-me-up. Created to evoke the feeling of a fresh pearl, it contains notes of Sandalwood, Musk and Vanilla which linger on the skin to leave a warming scent. It may be teeny tiny, but the fragrance is strong enough to last all afternoon.
