The internet is awash with blogs, magazines, trends to follow and people's style to admire, but are the trends and products really wearable outside of those closed circles? The answer is yes - but the key is in how you make that trend or product relevant and suitable for you. This weekend sees the launch of a new feature on LBQ: How You Wear It. I want my readers to show me how they rock key makeup products, on-trend looks, accessories, hair styles and much more - because everybody can tap into every single element somehow, and this is what I want to show. One of the statements I get from readers is that they "can't wear red lipstick" because "it just doesn't suit" them. What total tishwash; there's a red lipstick for every woman, regardless of skin tone, hair colour, personal style and makeup ability... The key is just finding the right one for you. When I asked my Twitter and Instagram followers to send me their pictures of them rocking a red lip, I was overwhelmed by the response and how many different looks were appearing on my feed. (To see them all, search Twitter using the hashtag #LBQHowIWearIt) Here is just a snapshot of some of the awesome looks you're rocking... Showing red lips really are a girls best friend.

Showing that a strong matte lip can scream elegance and sophistication, @SineadyMcG rocks red while letting her dark hair do the talking. A red lip makes the perfect accessory on a night out, but make sure you keep the rest of your makeup simple - a slick of black liner is all you need.

However, red lips shouldn't just be kept for Saturday night. @Becoming_Beauty wears hers light and simple, making it perfect for daily wear when you want to brighten up an outfit. A delicate red lip can act as the perfect accessory.

If you have pale skin and a worried about a red lip overpowering your complexion, @JellyPigs and @DippyWrites show that keeping the rest of your makeup simple will help your eyes to pop. A big smile helps too!

There are thousands of red lipsticks available, but @AztecMess illustrates that going for a darker berry shade makes it winter appropriate. This fabulous colour makes her eyes really pop and ensures the entire look is on-trend and as if she's stepped off the pages of a magazine.

Which is your favourite look? Do you have a different way of wearing red lipstick? Tweet me your pictures using the hashtag #LBQHowIWearIt and I'll share the best ones.

NEXT WEEKS CHALLENGE: Smokey Eyes.
Be it a strong bold look, a subtle black outline or a blended-to-perfection smudge, I want to see your best Smokey Eyes. Tweet me (@LBQBlog) using #LBQHowIWearIt and you could be featured on the blog next weekend!
