Fresh from the catwalks of New York, London, Milan and Paris, girl-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne has been today announced as the new face of Burberry's latest fragrance. Simply called 'Tender', the fragrance is housed in an elegant nude bottle with a cap that features the iconic Burberry check in silver. Burberry describe the new fragrance as combining 'the relaxed, playful attitude of the Burberry girl with the energy of the brand’s London hometown.' What better way to celebrate its British roots than by capturing Cara on a boat in the middle of Thames? Christopher Bailey directed the shoot and the result is certainly striking, feminine and beautiful in a very British way. I'm yet to have a sniff myself, but it's described as: 'understated and feminine, the British scent is a light spirited expression of the iconic Burberry Body fragrance; the sparkling scent brings together a fresh surge of lemon, dewy English rose and white jasmine against a warm, effortlessly feminine soft base.'
