Simple Skincare Introduces NEW Range: 'Kind To Skin+'

I'm pretty sure that everyone has owned an item of Simple skincare at some point in their lives. At one moment in time it was the 'go-to' brand for anyone looking for fuss-free and affordably priced products, their claims being unique on the high street at the time of launch. They prized themselves on being free from colours and fragrances for many years, but the brand also became a bit stagnant. Their boring bottles of cleansers and face creams did little for the imagination, nor did they take into consideration the emerging trends and new technologies that have become so prominent. All of that is set to change, however, with the launch of their new skincare range: Kind To Skin+. Not only does it contain an updated Light Moisturiser, but also a Perfecting BB Cream, Protecting Moisture Cream with SPF30 and an Illuminating Radiance Cream.

The range contains ingredients that help to brighten and perfect the skin naturally, providing a glowing and natural complexion with very little effort. All the products in the range contain at least SPF15, which is great to see within a range targeted at the younger spectrum - sun exposure is the biggest cause of ageing, so it's vital to get in there early. Due to these products being targeted at those with younger and tougher skin, the textures are very light and aim to help reflect the light or inject some much needed missing vitamins. If you're concerned about ageing or have serious skin issues then these won't be for you, but if you're after something easy to use and a delicate result these are perfect.

The BB Cream provides a serious amount of colour, but there's only one shade on offer: although this is supposed to be 'one shade fits all', I would err on the side of caution if you have a particularly light or dark skintone. Although this is incomparable to something like Dr Jart, this isn't bad at all for the price point of £8.99; it provides a silky texture and enough coverage for someone with no specific skin concerns, as well as sinking into the skin pretty well. The Protecting Creams do what they say on the tin, providing a hit of moisture and SPF protection in a little tub of goodness - these are fab as a daily moisturiser, or for teenagers who just need to get into the habit of using a face cream. However, my favourite of the lot is the new Illuminating Radiance Cream - it contains tiny light reflecting particles that help to create the illusion radiance and a healthy glow within seconds. This is almost like a serum feel and sinks into the skin well to leave it feeling soft and supple. You only need one pump, applying a little to the cheekbones instead of a highlighter.

It's great to see Simple catching up with the trends and thinking outside of the box a little with this new range. The products are all reasonably priced, ranging from £4.99 to £8.99, and help to leave skin looking and feeling fresh after regular cleansing and toning. Considering I have expensive and ridiculous creams coming out of my ears, the Illuminating Radiance Cream is definitely a product I've been sticking with - especially on days when I need a little burst of health in my cheeks!

The complete range of Kind To Skin+ launches this September into Tesco, Superdrug and other high street retailers. Prices start at £4.99.
