Although I love to coordinate my nail colour with my outfit, sometimes I simply don't have the time to be changing my polish every other day. This is a favourite with nearly every beauty blogger for good reason: the polish is the perfect consistency to ensure a flawless application. Although some of the brighter colours have a tendency to chip, the paler shades are perfect for three-day-wear. I've even found some of my favourite plum and berry shades last longer than any other brand I've tried, making this a go-to brand on many an occasion. The formula doesn't go gloopy and the brush is perfectly sized for the nail, making this super quick to apply too. Although these polishes are pretty pricey, they're pricey for a reason.
2. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure (£6.99)
An accidental discovery while in Paris, the Sally Hansen polishes really do provide a salon professional result at home. The thickness of the brush ensures you pick up a lot of product and quickly coat each nail, making this super speedy to apply. The consistency of the polish aids its longevity too, helping it to stay in place with minimal chipping for up to four days. I have mostly darker shades from this range, which do me really well during weekends away when I don't want to change my polish. Even better are the unique colours and collections frequently launched, ensuring they're always on-trend and up-to-date with the catwalks.
3. Rimmel Salon Pro (£6.00)
A relatively budget buy, but a budget buy with punch. I was really dubious when I first tried this range, not really believing in the extensive claims, but the shades actually deliver a pretty flawless result and long-lasting colour. These doesn't chip nearly as bad as any other Rimmel polish, confidently providing me with colour for at least three days. The lighter shades are better than the dark ones, especially as the slight chipping and polish fading is more subtle when it starts to occur, but even the red colours provide a long-lasting result that I'm pleased to recommend.
