We've been having the most glorious sunshine in the UK these past few days, and the impact it seems to have on everyone's mood is incredible. Happy people are bouncing down the street, hanging out in parks and demolishing as much ice cream as they can get their hands on (and wearing their best summer fashion while they're doing it.) But with the warmer weather comes the challenge of looking good while keeping cool - especially if you're over a certain size. In the colder weather it's easy to cover up the bits of your body you're not so keen on and highlight the parts you are, but the need to de-layer and expose that skin to the warmer elements can be a real challenge for many. We're removed of our security blankets (in some cases literally) and have to find wardrobe staples that tick the boxes of looking fab, making us feel great and preventing us from overheating. That's a struggle in itself, let alone having to deal with the judgement of others in the process; at this time of year that becomes incessant and unpleasant.
