In movies they all seem to wake from a slumber with perfectly applied makeup and super glossy hair tumbling from their shoulders - but we all know that's not real life. Most of us throw back the sheets to reveal what can only be described as a descendant of Cousin It, hair sticking out in every which way and definitely a far cry from what we looked like when we slipped between them only eight hours prior. Re-styling and attempting to control my hair takes so much time and effort in the morning, so anything I can do to keep it looking as fresh as possible is worthwhile in my book - and there are little steps you can take to ensure you awake with a 'do that's silky soft and shiny, rather than monstrous. Over the years I've learned some tips and tricks to reduce the stress associated with morning routines, so here are some of the easy ways you can turn a bad hair day into a great one.
