With only three months to go until I become Mrs Hall (that's gonna take a while to get used to!) it's the little details that are starting to take priority. The dress is having its final nip and tucks, the florist is briefed, my hair trial has taken place and all the wine has been ordered, so the super fun bits can finally take over: choosing the little details that really bring everything together. As someone that feels naked without a plethora of jewellery on my person, the little decorations I'm going to wear have long been on my mind; if I wear at least a couple of rings, a necklace and some bracelets on a daily basis, why would I do any different on my wedding day? Links Of London are definitely one of my favourite places to pick out a stunning piece or two, thanks to my long-standing relationship with their iconic Sweetie Bracelet; I've worn the mini version on my wrist for years, as I love the delicate details and the fact it slips into any combination of bracelets with ease. But Links of London are so much more than the Sweetie: they have a huge number of delicate pieces to adorn your decollatage or hands, which perfectly suit any bride's chosen style.

MAKE A SUBTLE STATEMENT
I've known from the get-go that I didn't want to opt for pearls or 'classic' bridal accessories, as that's just not who I am. My style is classic but quirky, so it was a natural evolution to seek out something a bit different: the Links Of London 'Ascot' collection provides a cute way of adding a touch of bling, while nodding to the usual horseshoe good luck charms of decades past. I love the idea of wearing this usually quite tacky bridal symbol in an incredibly elegant, sophisticated and aspirational way - because it's all about turning preconceptions on their heads! My favourite pieces from the range include the Ascot Diamond Essentials Sterling Silver Horseshoe Necklace (£195) which is everything I wanted in a necklace, and the Ascot Diamond Essentials Rose Gold Vermeil Horseshoe Ring (£225) which I've been wearing every day since it arrived. If that's not your thing, then the Essentials Beaded Chain 3 Row Bracelet and matching Necklace provide an understated addition to any bridal look, while keeping it classically beautiful. As my dress has a lot going on with it, I don't want jewellery that overshadows it; instead I'm looking for pieces that make a subtle statement and these are just the ticket.

PINK, WHITE OR YELLOW?
Wearing a shade of metal to complement my look is something I've long embraced; I'm much more likely to wear yellow gold in the summer for a touch of sunshine boho, and silver in the winter when I quite like the coldness against my darker palette. Rose gold has been my metal of choice for the past year or two, as it seems to go with everything and keeps my accessories looking fresh - plus, for a bridal look it adds a modern twist without the need to overkill with accessories. (If you can't decide, then Links Of London also have pieces that combine multiple metals, including this Ascot Narrative Sterling Silver &18kt Rose Gold Vermeil Bracelet.) Personally I've finally settled on silver for my Big Day as my dress has subtle sparkles that will look fabulous with some silver or white gold pieces; I like the idea of keeping it fresh and simple, because there's a lot going on in my outfit! (I can't wait to show you later this year...)

SOMETHING TO TREASURE
I've already made arrangements with my Nan to rummage through her jewellery collection and pick out my something 'old' and 'borrowed', but I also want to wear a new piece or two that I can treasure forever and know it's what I wore on one of the most important and memorable days of my life. If there's one day you can justify a little jewellery splurge, then this is it. I love the idea of being able to get pieces out on anniversaries and special occasions, even handing them down to my children in the future - who knows, my daughter-to-come could even wear them on her Big Day! With the tradition being for the groom to gift his bride a beautiful piece of jewellery to wear the morning of their wedding, it's worth leaving some hints or sending a wishlist to your husband-to-be if you're coming up to your own wedding day too. Links Of London have so many beautiful pieces to choose from, so you won't be disappointed in whatever choice he makes. I know I'd be delighted to unwrap any of these pieces come October 5th.

As the countdown is on, and only three months to go, it's all starting to get a bit real. I can't wait for the day to arrive and I'm so excited to have all my loved ones in one place - while I'm dressed in the most fabulous outfit of my life! Becoming 'Mrs Hall' is scary, but it's also so very exciting; I've found my soulmate and partner in time and I can't wait to say 'I do'. (Hopefully while wearing some pretty amazing jewellery too, hint hint!)
