10 Last Minute Affordable Christmas Gifts For The Girl That Just Wants To Have Fun

Hasn't this Christmas come around quickly? Normally I'm super prepared and have most of my gifts purchased by mid-November, but this year time has run away with me and I've barely given them a second thought. If, like me, you need to spend the next week prepping and picking up presents for your loved ones but only have a lunchbreak to spare, I've got some super handy last minute gift guides coming up to help you on your way - the first of which is for the girl in your life that just wants to have fun, no matter her age. It may be that she loves glitter and gold, anything with an animal's face on or scents that transport her back to sweet treats of her childhood, but either way these ten find will definitely put a smile on her face without breaking the bank. Plus, they're all a hop, skip or a click away from your doorstep!

1. Dirty Works Crackers (£4.00 from Sainsbury's)
Beauty crackers are definitely having a moment, but these super cute snowman versions contain minis that are actually useful: a handbag sized fragrance spritzer, lip balm and nail files. They're super value and make a great stocking filler, plus you can pick them up while doing the sandwich run.

2. Lottie London Best Of Brushes Metal Collection (£7.99 from Superdrug)
I'm such a makeup brush hoarder, but these would make a welcome addition to my stash. The beautiful chrome handles make a statement, while the five different styles help any newbie on their way. These are great for teens taking their first step into tools, or simply fab for those more colourful people in your life.

3. Vanilla Chai Lip Balm (£4.00 from The Body Shop)
Lip balms from The Body Shop make me feel like a kid again, but this Vanilla Chai limited edition flavour perfectly bridges the gap between kid fantasy and grown up scent. It's sweet and playful while having elements of winter spice; so much better to find in your stocking than chocolate coins.

4. MUA Burning Embers Palette (£8.00 from Superdrug)
When I featured this eyeshadow palette within an Instagram post you guys went crazy for it - and with good reason. The colour spectrum is ah-mazin, while the sheer vastness of option makes for a great gift. At only £8.00 you really can't go wrong - especially when the pigment is so strong.

5. I Love… Lemon Meringue Whipped Sugar Scrub (£4.99 from Superdrug)
One for the sugar obsessed, this lightly whipped sugar scrub provides an unusual texture, but the scent is incredibly addictive. Breathe it in and smell the warm lemon meringue pie your Nan used to make! It's fun, bright, bold and cheap as chips too.

6. Oh K! Coconut Water Fibre Face Mask (£8.00 for 3 from ASOS)
Sheet masks have been huge this year and Oh K! have managed to keep that trend ticking over nicely. I adore this little three pack of coconut water enriched masks (for extra hydration,) especially because the box even has little arms. A moment of relaxation in a sachet.

7. Spiced Apple Shower Gel (£5.00 from The Body Shop)
Every year The Body Shop launch limited edition collections, and a couple of years ago their Spiced Apple was insanely popular; this year they've brought it back for a limited time, meaning your loved ones can douse themselves in the scent of apple crumble every morning to keep the festive spirit alive.

8. Sanctuary Get Cosy 'Let Go' Candle (£6.00 from Boots)
The Sanctuary have definitely reinvigorated a rather stale brand in 2016, and this cute candle shows how. Mini in size but maxi in nature (the iconic Sanctuary scent fills a room with ease,) this is packaged in a beautiful box so you don't even need to wrap it.

9. Rose Gold Metallic Makeup Bag (£5.99 from Superdrug)
When will we get tired of rose gold? Probably never. This cute makeup bag is one of many available at Superdrug, making carrying your essentials around fun and glitzy; it's big enough to fit everything in, while being small enough not to take up too much space. Bonus.

10. Soap & Glory Khol-Eyed (£10.00 from Boots)
Every Christmas I'm astounded by how much Soap & Glory put into their festive gifting; there's always so much to choose from (both for ourselves and loved ones!) but this kaleidoscope is something rather special. Look into one end for a glitzy view, or pop off the top to reveal three khol liners inside. A bargain and a toy to keep them occupied on Boxing Day.
