After much media hype, ex-Victoria Secret model, Hollywood wife and wellness ambassador Miranda Kerr has launched her organic skincare line in the UK. Available exclusively at Net-A-Porter, the Australian brand is certified organic and boasts over 90% of its ingredients as being of natural origin. In Miranda’s words, "The KORA Organics range is exactly what I wanted for myself but was unable to find anywhere in the world. The products represent my healthy, balanced lifestyle, my beliefs and love of organics." Containing ‘skin superfoods’ such as rosehip oil, green tea extract and chamomile, Miranda credits her healthy lifestyle, including regular yoga sessions and daily use of KORA Organics, for her supermodel glow... But with prices starting from £32, is it worth your buck? I've had a chance to try a few products from the range, so here are my thoughts on what's worth investing in and what's worth throwing in the bin.

Exfoliating cream, £42
I was impressed by this exfoliant; it felt effective at removing dirt and dead skin, plus left my skin feeling soft without stripping it of moisture. However the rough consistency of the oat flour and bamboo granules felt quite abrasive, so if, like me, you have sensitive skin I'd recommend limiting use to just once a week. Overall the price was a big hurdle for me and although a little goes a long way, there are equally effective exfoliants out there for a fraction of the price.
Enriched body lotion, £38
I’m a moisturising nut with sensitive/dry skin, so my lotions need to be super hydrating and quick to absorb. The rich creamy consistency made this lotion feel indulgent, but it took far too long to soak in and felt greasy on my skin. However if you’re patient enough to hang around it does leave skin feeling soft and it smells gorgeously earthy and fresh.
Energizing citrus mist, £32
By far my favourite product in the range; the orangey scent is so refreshing and it honestly did brighten up my complexion and even helped set my make-up in place. In my opinion this is the only product in the range worth its hefty price tag - I will be re-purchasing!
Luxurious rosehip body oil, £45
I’ll always favour creams over oils, so perhaps I went into this with a closed mind, but for me the best part of this product was the rose scent. I often suffer from breakouts on my chest and back so I only applied this to my limbs, but I found the consistency far too greasy and slow to absorb. Plus the pump dispenser means you always get given more than you need, so it doesn’t last long either.
I love the ethics and organic nature of the brand, but for me the quality of most of the products didn’t match up to their price. They all smelt fresh and indulgent and if you’ve got the time for them to absorb your skin does feel moisturised and hydrated, but for me the length of time they took to absorb was a big drawback. It just goes to prove that a celebrity face and hefty price tag doesn't necessarily mean a product to die for.
