Make Your Life A Little Easier This Holiday Season: Top Ten Stress-Saving Beauty Products To Pack

SPONSORED FEATURE
Are you one of those people that plans their holiday wardrobe weeks ahead of departure? Or do you panic at the airport because you've forgotten all the most important things in your hand luggage? According to CollectPlus, 10% of us admit to buying a whole new wardrobe ahead of the holiday season, while 85% of holidaymakers plan their holiday wardrobe in advance. While you're planning what dresses to wear to the bar, and what shoes are suitable for the beach, it's also worth considering which beauty products you want to pack to ensure your body is looking just as hot as your outfit. For me, packing beauty essentials is just as important as picking out the perfect swimsuit; the key to feeling fabulous, enhancing a golden glow and ensuring your skin is looked after effectively is to pack a portfolio of heroes that will see you through a relaxing week in the sun and beyond. I've teamed up with CollectPlus to bring you an edit of ten stress saving beauty must-haves, in celebration of their new Wanderlust Wardrobe. This handy little tool helps you to pick the perfect outfits and accessories, dependent upon where you're planning to jet off to this summer, so you don't have to worry about researching potential looks for hours on end. Select from a number of destinations and the tool will provide you with some hot and seasonally appropriate items to make up your own Wanderlust Wardrobe; you can click, buy and have them delivered to you by CollectPlus with absolutely no hassle involved! But back to beauty... Here are the beauty products I think every woman should be packing before jetting away, all of which will make your life easier when you get there.

LONG LASTING 'GEL' POLISH
Nobody wants to hit the beach with chipped nails, but equally nobody wants to drag a huge nail kit away with them. Picking up a long lasting gel-style polish will see your talons looking fabulous for longer (without any damage,) especially when they're coated in a beautiful tan-enhancing coral shade. Apply this while waiting for your flight and start your trip off looking polished to perfection.
(Personal pick: Essie Couture nail polish £9.99)

TINTED BODY PRODUCT
We've all been there: the first day you step out into the sun you feel practically transparent and your swimming costume isn't exactly enhancing your tone. Pick up a bottle of wash-off tan or a tinted moisturiser and apply liberally, buffing into skin using a tanning mitt, to replace a practically blue skin tone with a glowing one.  As you start to pick up colour reduce the quantity you're using - or if you prefer to sit in the shade, this will help fool everyone into thinking you're a sun goddess.
(Personal pick: Vita Liberata Body Blur £29.50)

TRAVEL FRIENDLY SHEET MASK
Did you know that the air on a plane is ten times dryer than the desert? There's a reason you disembark feeling like all the moisture has been zapped away from your skin, so mid-flight apply a travel friendly sheet mask to inject all the goodness back in. It's mess free, saves oodles of space in your bag and is hand luggage friendly; just don't worry what everyone around you is thinking while you look like something out of a horror movie, because you'll look fabulous in a few hours.
(Personal pick: StarSkin VIP Mask £12.50)

DELICATE HIGHLIGHTER
If you want to keep your makeup minimal while you travel, then packing a delicate highlighter will help to reflect the light and add radiance to your complexion - even when you step off a ten hour flight. We associate an inner glow with youthfulness and health, so adding a touch to the tops of cheeks and the bridge of the nose just before landing will give you the confidence boost you need after a long flight.
(Personal pick: Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter £19.00)

FACE MASK CAPSULES
I do love a face mask, but who wants to pack a space hogging tube when you can take little disposable pods away instead? Each contains the perfect quantity to treat your skin after a long day in the sun (or a long night in the bar,) giving your complexion a little pick-me-up when it needs it.
(Personal pick: Nugg Face Masks £16.50 for 5)

NOURISHING AFTERSUN
Inevitably we all pack tonnes of sunscreen whenever we go away, but more often than not we always forget the after sun. These lightweight nourishing creams are great for soothing skin, helping to rehydrate and ensuring peeling is minimised - so your tan lasts for longer too. There are so many great after sun products out there at the moment, but my personal choice will always be one I can slap on in the shower to save on time and effort.
(Personal pick: Vichy Ideal Soleil Double Usage After Sun Oil £13.00)

DEWY LOOKING BRONZER
I'm all over the bronzer 365 days a year, but when I hit a warmer climate I much prefer embracing a natural dewy looking texture that gives me a sunkissed glow. You don't have to be precise or use any tools, just dab it on the areas of your face where the sun naturally hits and blend in with your index finger; nobody will ever know you've just stepped off the plane.
(Personal pick: Benefit Hoola Liquid Bronzer £22.50)

SUPER HYDRATING GEL MOISTURISER
Leave the thick, heavy creams at home and embrace the power of a super hydrating gel moisturiser that sinks into skin immediately to leave it feeling refreshed and hydrated. The texture provides a cooling effect, doesn't overload the skin, works with other products and ensures you're out the door in ten minutes so you can enjoy as much time as possible building sandcastles.
(Personal pick: Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief £34.00)

DETANGLING HAIR SPRAY
The sun, sea and sand can play havoc with our tresses; beach hair may still be on-trend, but realistically it can cause tangles and breakage that you'll regret when you're home. Packing a little bottle of detangling spray will help you minimise mess and keep your hair in great condition, while many also contain SPF to protect colour from sun damage too.
(Personal pick: Tigi Bed Head Beach Freak Detangling Spray £15.50)

TINTED SUN PROTECTION
Effective sunscreen isn't even a question when you travel abroad, but sunscreen that also provides a touch of colour means you've got space in your suitcase for even more shoes as you'll be leaving the foundation at home. Look for a high SPF and a texture that glides over skin to leave a uniform colour result, as well as a lightweight formula to ensure it doesn't block pores. Nobody wants to sweat off their base when they're enjoying the sunshine.
(Personal pick: La Roche Posay Anthelios XL 50+ £16.50)
