Every time I write about Ciate nail varnish and their extravagant limited edition kits, the response I get is overwhelming. It appears there's a huge appreciation for their creativity and unique innovation, especially when they seem to set the trends that appear on the shelves of Boots a few months later. The latest offering from the iconic nail brand is totally on-trend for Summer and includes a lot of neon nail paint, some serious glitter and a hardcore UV finish. These 'Corrupted Neon Manicure' kits include a brightly coloured paint pot and corresponding bottle filled to the brim with neon glitter, the aim of which is to sprinkle one over the other for a striking nail result. If you want to blow the minds of all your friends (I'm talking the girlie ones that actually care what colour your nails are,) then there's even a topcoat which turns the nail varnish bright white under UV light. Although the glitter is a bit fiddly and messy to apply, the paint pot varnish creates a great base to really grip it and keep the glitter in place. The paint pot colours provide a strong result that's easy to apply and not too thick, making them delightful to wear alone or with the topcoats provided. However, what excites me most about these cute kits is the packs they come in - 3D coatings allow the image to change, depending how it catches the light, which provides a worryingly fun experience that's not unlike a small child playing with the box their birthday present came in. If you're looking for a gift, indulgence for yourself or cheeky payday treat, then you could get a lot of enjoyment out of this... Both before and after you open it.
