As you can imagine, a lot of things land on my desk on a daily basis. It's easy to get excited about a new lipgloss or nail varnish, but one of the categories that tends to get a bit neglected includes all those functional body products that do the job but just aren't that exciting. Simialrly, unless there's a real innovation or point of difference worth writing about, a lot of the skincare products that land on my doorstep get brushed to one side and saved for another day - but if there's one collection that proves grabbing my attention is all in the packaging, it's this. Neal's Yard are definitely a firm favourite of mine, offering truly effective products that are a pleasure to use, but I often forget about their little blue jars in favour of something a little more eye-catching. Formulated with beautiful ingredients, hand crafted in Britain and infused with delicious scents that really make the whole application process an experience, Neal's Yard are almost as well known for their Wild Rose Beauty Balm than anything else in their portfolio. This spring they've partnered with celebrated British artist Alice Shields to create a new look for the expanding Wild Rose collection, giving it a new lease of life while ensuring it's an utterly fabulous addition to any bathroom shelf.

You may recognise the packaging from last year, when it was launched as a limited edition design, but it's been so incredibly popular that Neal's Yard are bringing it back as a permanent identity. If you've not tried any of the Wild Rose collection before, here's the lowdown on the sweet smelling four piece...
WILD ROSE BEAUTY BALM (£38.00)
The original incredibly popular beauty balm features wild rose seed oil (as well as oils of jojoba, hemp, geranium, rosemary, frankincense, patchouli and starflower,) to nourish and bring about radiance, while shea butter and beeswax help provide a luxuriously rich and hydrating experience. It can be used as a cleanser, to gently exfoliate away dull skin using a muslin cloth, as an intense face mask or even as a targeted dry skin treatment, making it one of those multi-tasking products that just has to be in your bathroom. A little goes a really long way, so the £38.00 is definitely a long-term investment in your skin; just warm it between your fingers and massage into skin for the best results.
WILD ROSE BEAUTY ELIXIR (£45.50)
This luxurious elixir is formulated with wild rosehip oil, ultra-moisturising hyaluronic acid, brightening turmeric, a smoothing peptide and the pure essential oils of frankincense and geranium. It's proof that organic can be just as pleasurable and effective as super-science, as long as you turn to the right brands. The slightly sticky texture can take some getting used to, but I find it actually helps to keep my makeup in place even without a primer; it's lightweight and absorbs quickly to leave skin feeling refreshed without being overloaded - so much so that I've changed up all my existing serums in favour of this over the last couple of weeks. (Use it post-cleanse and pre-moisturiser.) I really like how it gently plumps and hydrates my skin, leaving a great base for everything else I layer up over the surface.

Like we need an excuse to buy another hand cream? This hardworking formula deeply nourishes, moisturises and softens dry skin with very little effort, while the addition of antioxidant wild rosehip oil and a balancing blend of essential oils ensures your digits are cared for in the best way. Although a hand cream is a hand cream, this perfectly sized tube smells and looks great - making it a fab handbag addition, even if the other products don't catch your eye.
WILD ROSE BODY ELIXIR (£30.00)
Indulgent in every way, the Wild Rose Body Elixir intensely nourishes while boosting skins elasticity and radiance. The unusual balm like texture isn't what you expect when you first squeeze a little into your hand, but it hydrates easily to leave skin feeling supple and strong; although it's not what I would use in the morning, it's a fabulous product to apply before bed in a ritualistic manner. Enriched with wild rosehip oil (a fantastic source of antioxidant vitamin C to help keep skin looking and feeling healthy and radiant,) antioxidant acai (rich in skin-plumping omegas 6 and 9,) and ultra-moisturising cocoa butter and Brazil nut oil, there's nothing not to love about this intense body treatment.
