Estee Lauder's NEW Little Black Liner: A Double-Ended Wonder For Easy Flicks

I don't know when I became so obsessed with felt tip liners, but suffice to say the fascination isn't going to end any time soon. A slick of black across the lid can instantly vamp up your look, add a vintage twist or complement a bold lip - there are so many ways to wear the trend it's no surprise the blogging world is obsessed with the power of a great liner. Having captured my attention with the launch of their Little Black Primer (a brilliant base coat that helps build lashes for a powerful, yet still understated flutter - read my review here,) Estee Lauder have now made me fall head over heels with the launch of the complementary Little Black Liner. This double-ended tool features and ultra fine nib, as well as an innovative double-width end, that together can create a multitude of looks.

The super rich pigment is so easy to work with, gliding over the eye to create an incredibly bold line that doesn't budge. Many other liners fall flat when it comes to creating the 'wing', as they're just not pigmented enough to create a strong line, but the Little Black Liner makes it super simple. The two ends provide three different results too, meaning you can achieve every look imaginable with just one little pen: Ultra-fine (the slim tip defines eyes with glide-on precision,) Thin (use the flat wedge tip to create a classic line,) and Thick (turn the flat wedge tip on its side for thick, full-on drama.)

The super fine tip is the most precise I've ever experienced, while the innovative 'reservoir' edge can be flipped round to perfect your look without getting in a mess. It's not particualrly technical and requires very little explanation, but in essence this is blooming brilliant. Although the £22.00 price tag may make you weep, the double-ended feature does ensure you're getting twice as much product and twice as much use versus your regular pen - which goes a little way in justfying such an indulgence. If you've ever struggled creating the classic winged liner look, then this gadget could be what you've been looking for; the ease of use only complements the effortless result it creates.

Will you be rushing out to by the Little Black Liner?

The Estee Lauder Little Black Liner is available now, priced £22.00.
