Why do nudes look so elegant? The dusty pink tones of a coffee-coloured lipstick helps to create a beautiful kissable pout, while a slick of mocha gloss just effortlessly brings a whole look together. I've long been a fan of nude lips, but over the past couple of years nude nail polishes have also become my absolute go-to. Although they require little-to-no thought, go with everything and enhance our natural features, they're also the epitome of elegance and understated beauty. Known for her 'never look like you're trying' approach, Kate Moss embodies the nude makeup look on a daily basis; it's no surprise that she's channeled this into a capsule ten piece collection of lipsticks and matching nail polishes for Rimmel this summer. If you just thought 'a nude is a nude' before, then let me educate you on the spectrum of colour and why you could possibly need them all!

Featuring a traditional pale nude with more yellowy undertones (40), a pinky nude that's perfectly suited to English Rose complextions (42), a coffee coloured nude that offers a richer finish (43), a blue-toned darker nude for added contrast (45,) and a rich chocolate berry colour that would look amazing on black skin tones (48,) there's really a nude for every need. Each one of these correspond to a nude polish, which offer an entire spectrum of colour too - from the orange tinted 'Bare Yourself' right through to the shimmering chocolate 'Sensual Spice'. I would wear every single one of these shades and be proud to do so; they're beautiful, a pleasure to apply and affordable to boot.
The Lasting Finish lipsticks are some of my favourites, offering a rich pigment and hydrating bullet that lasts for hours. They're so comfortable and easy to apply, providing a much better formula than some products three times their price. Equally, the Salon Pro polishes are some of the best - thanks to their wide applicator brush and rich pigment that leaves nails looking 'professionally done' in only two coats. I've had one of these polishes on for two full days and there's only one small chip to show for it; similarly, I regularly pop on a Lasting Finish nude lipstick and only have to re-apply once or twice throughout the whole day. Considering you can grab a lipstick and matching polish for less than a tenner together, there's no excuse not to stock up on shades you'll love right through to autumn. Nudes are back with a bang...
