Swap Those Benefit Brow Tools For Something More Affordable: The Best Dupes I've Found!

Unintentionally, this is quickly becoming a week focused on Benefit dupes - but that's because their products form a fundamental part of my makeup routine and just are so ruddy awesome. I adore their brow products, thanks mostly to the fact they were the ones that educated me on filling in my brows and embracing an 'arch' I never knew I had. Although I own and use a multitude of other brands (Mii, L'Oreal, Delilah, Revlon...) to style my brows, I have to admit that the Benefit tools are some of my favourites; they're easy to use, provide a selection of colour options and stay in place all day without flaking. However, they can be a little bit pricey so I tend to use alternatives on days when I know I'm just popping out to Starbucks and the post office. I've discovered two amazing dupes for two of my favourite brow tools ever, so today I'm sharing the love for them in the hope your brows will look fabulous too.

PREMIUM: Benefit Instant Brow Pencil (£13.50)
This super soft gel pencil is highly pigmented and helps to fill in sparse areas of the brows, as well as creating depth when there isn't any. It's a great pencil to use for definition and isn't at all 'scratchy' or difficult to apply. I love the fact it stays put all day, even when it's super hot, and helps provide the definition I need; the added comb is a little bonus too.
DUPE: Barry M Brow Wow Pencil (£3.99)

The closest dupe I've found in terms of texture and pigment, this pencil is available in two shades and provides a practically identical finish. Although the crayon is a little creamier, and therefore a touch less precise, it's fab for touching up brows or filling in areas that need a little volume. A bit of a bargain buy at less than a fiver - plus it's a bit longer too!

PREMIUM: Benefit Gimme Brow (£18.50)
Like magic in a tube, this tiny treat contains lots of minute fibers that latch onto your brows and create a really natural result. Fuller brows are yours instantly, while keeping them looking incredibly natural; the key to this is keeping it 'messy' - perfectly coiffed brows are always going to look 'drawn on'.
DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow (£1.99)

Although this formula is runnier and doesn't contain the little fibres that make Gimme Brow so fabulous, the tiny brush is identifical and helps to brush on a tint that lifts the overall look of your eyebrows. The two shades available are quite light and quite dark (nothing in the middle,) so the key is blending them together or applying with caution. For the price point though, you can't go wrong.

Are you a fan of Benefit's brow products? Will you be checking out these alternatives?
