Get Rich Blogging: A book by livelikeavip.com's Zoe Griffin

Quite some time ago a little email dropped into my inbox from a well known blogger. Zoe Griffin from livelikeavip.com had asked me to answer some questions and contribute to a book she was writing. I get a lot of emails asking for my opinions on blogging for dissertations, blog posts, newspaper articles and more, but for some reason this stuck out and I answered pretty much straight away. Zoom forward quite some time and another email had dropped in my inbox; this time Zoe was letting me know her book was about to be published and some of my quotes/pearls of wisdom (cough cough) had made it in. It's not every day that you get to be in a book, especially a book written about something that's so crucial to your life that it feels like a fifth limb. Zoe's book 'Get Rich Blogging' hit stores this week and I got my hands on a copy ahead of the bookshops (and Amazon!) so I could check out not only what she said about me, but what advice she had to give to the blogging community. Although the title is very much an attention grabber, there's much more to this book on how to make a quick buck on the internet - Zoe takes the reader through every stage of setting up a blog, from naming and designing your site, to finding a USP and growing a readership, wrapped up nicely with how to work with brands and what opportunities are available outside of your site itself. Content is broken down easily, with practical examples and simple explanations to bring her suggestions to life, as well as a check list at the end of every chapter to keep you motivated. The book includes quotes and contributions from everyone who's anyone: Pixiwoo, Perez Hilton, The Clothes Whisperer, British Beauty Blogger and ME! Quotes and words of wisdom are scattered throughout, so it's easy to read half the book in one sitting while making notes about what you'd like to do - even an old hat like me, who's been blogging nearly three years, came away with a page full of notes and bounds of enthusiasm. Although the name of the book itself is bound to cause controversy amongst those people who still think it's a sin to make a penny from your hobby, the fundamental benefit it brings to everyone with a blog is still paramount - it makes you think about what you're doing, provides you with a new energy to go out and do your thing, while giving everyone a tip or ten about what they could improve. If I was a non-blogger reading the book it would make me think I could become a millionaire just by having a plan and shuving some stuff on t'internet, but there's no reason why Zoe's tips can't help everyone. It's a thoroughly good read and one I'd recommend to bloggers, brands, readers and general enthusiasts alike. What tip would you most like to find in the book?
