Join The Debate: Cream Vs Powder? Pledge Your Allegiance & WIN With Collection Cosmetics

With the blossoms blooming on the trees, the smell of fake tan in the air and sales of hair removal products going through the roof, it's definitely the transitional period where we move from the old season to the new. Although we often shake up our wardrobes and even amend our beauty regimes, our makeup often gets forgotten about; it's easy to keep the same products within your repertoire from one season to the next, when a couple of small changes could make a huge difference to your look. Just in time for spring, Collection present two new launches that are all about achieving a radiant complexion: the Speedy Blush Sticks (a cream blush trio) and Gorgeous Glow (a highlighting powder duo) together provide the update you need to ensure you're looking fabulous with little effort required. But which will you pledge your allegiance to... Cream or powder?

The Gorgeous Glow palettes are available in two delicate shades, but both provide a warming effect on the skin while ensuring your complexion is subtly radiant. The peachy Blush Block is the perfect combination of tones for adding a delicate flush to the skin, helping you transition from bold blushers and matte foundations into something more season appropriate. Alternatively, the Bronze Bloc looks fabulous when used for subtle contouring around the cheekbones and nose - it offers a slightly darker result that works perfectly in conjunction with a sunkissed glow. These can be worn together, alone, or over your base; they're incredibly lightweight and not too shimmery, meaning they're perfect for taking you from spring right through to your summer holidays with ease.

However, if you're a fan of a bolder and more contoured finish then the new Speedy Blush sticks could be right up your street. Highly pigmented, incredibly creamy and easy-as-pie to blend, these can be used to add a peachy glow to cheeks that's much more wearable than your traditional pink tones. Available in three colours, again they can be worn either alone or applied together for more depth to your look; the key is to buff them in using a flat blusher brush so you achieve a natural flush that's perfectly blended into your base. I'm a big fan of cream blushers for spring as I think they look way more natural, blend into your skin effortlessly and work over naked skin just as well as a foundation. These sticks are so simple to use, they don't break when you chuck them in your handbag and they also double up as a great lip colour... Bonus!

To celebrate the launch of these two products, Collection are asking their fans to pledge their allegence to either cream or powder and join the debate on their Facebook page. I'm definitely voting cream (although I still do love these powder compacts!) as these are a really affordable and simple way to change up your makeup routine. Which side will you choose? Are you a fan of rich, creamy and pigmented formulas, or do you prefer something more subtle and powdery on the tops of your cheekbones? Either way, we want you to look fabulous this spring so Collection are offering FIVE lucky readers the opportunity to win the Speedy Blush Sticks and FIVE readers the Gorgeous Glow Shimmer Brick! For chance to win, head over to the COLLECTION Facebook page and make your pledge on the Cream vs Powder app: choose either #TeamCream or #PowderPosse and unlock exclusive tips and tricks (as well as a special Superdrug discount code!) in the process. Good luck!
