Six Products To Help Your Body Transition Into Summer: Get Those Legs Out!

As we transition into a new season, it's time to pack away the opaques and get the flowing skirts out. Today I ventured outside for the first time sans tights, but I still covered up practically down to my ankles - because my pins just aren't quite ready to be revealed. However, there are a few easy peasy products you can integrate into your routine to ensure your body is looking beautiful in no time at all. It's easy to buff away the dull skin, hydrate and nourish, while adding a little tint of something sunkissed; these products will definitely be giving me a helping hand this week on my way to full blown summer wardrobe actualisation.

1. Melvita: L'Or Rose Firming Oil (£30.00)

4. Palmer's: Skin Therapy Oil Spray (£5.99)

I'm a big fan of spray format body products, as you can really spritz the formula exactly where you need it. This lightweight oil spray is great to pop on either before bed for a fabulous treatment as you sleep, or just as you step out the door for a touch of hydration and radiance. It's not as greasy as a lot of other oils, nor does it overtly stick to skin - give it a couple of minutes and massage the surface to ensure it's fully absorbed. It's preservative-free, phthalate free and contains an exclusive blend of key ingredients formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, dry, damaged skin, uneven skin tone, aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles - bonus.
 

5. L'Occitane: Youthful Body Velvet Serum (£28.00)

Launching this Spring into stores nationwide, this light yet concentrated body serum is enriched with almond native cells and Vitamin C to help act upon the signs of body ageing. Its flowery and powdery almond tree flower scent leaves a sophisticated and feminine veil on the body, while the silky smooth texture is an absolute pleasure to use - I really take the time to massage it into skin and feel the benefits. It can either be used alone or underneath your usual body lotion, helping to give skin a little boost when it needs it most. It's like targeted skincare, but for your body.

6. Balance Me: Super Toning Body Polish (£16.20)

You can't start a good body routine without a fabulous body polish, and this is just the ticket. Rich in antioxidants and essential oils (including juniper, geranium, lavender and bergamot,) this firming polish includes ground walnut shells and blackberry leaf extract to abolish dead skin cells, encourage cell renewal and boost collagen production. It's rich and creamy, massaging into skin in the shower to help lift away dullness and reveal the glowing skin underneath. I'm already on my second bottle and I can't see the semi-obsession ending any time soon.
