The Jo Malone limited edition collections have become something I look forward to every year; they continually push the boundaries and create innovative collections that we can really believe in - and most importantly, want to wear. This Spring sees the launch of their 'Rock The Ages' five piece collection which could quite possibly be their best yet; on-trend, a celebration of all things British, great packaging and a portfolio of fragrances that are incredibly wearable, this got me excited from the first time I set eyes on it. Each of the five scents is inspired by a period of British history and embodies the notes of the time - right from the historical Tudor Rose and Amber, right through to Birch and Black Pepper which represents the modern age.

Each of the fragrances is adorned with the most delectable lid and corresponding label that makes them covetable, as well as beautiful. The rich and sumptuous 'Tudor Rose & Amber' captures the spirit of the facinating reign of Henry VIII, offering opulent rose absolute, clove and ginger, while golden amber wraps the fragrance in warm sensuality. Reminiscent of the pastel gentility of Georgian London, 'Lily of The Valley & Ivy' has proven to be the most popular scent in-store. Thanks to its sparkling cassis and green ivy notes that open the fragrance, and decadent narcissus adds a lavish heart, it's both captivating and ethereal.
Pomegranate Noir is the only existing fragrance within the collection, but it naturally embodies the Victorian era. Luscious and juicy pomegranate is layered with heady casablanca lily and spiked with pink pepper; it's dramatic and intense, understandably making it one of Jo Malone's most popular scents of all time. The 'Geranium & Verbana' fragrance celebrates the cool elegance of Edwardian summers: aromatic verbena and basil are blended with refined and elegant geranium to provide a charismatic and unexpected scent that's surprisingly wearable for someone who doesn't like to adorn herself with floral notes.
Finally, 'Birch & Black Pepper' is described as 'Britain today'. Black pepper and cardamom add a cool spiciness, layered with smoky birch to provide a surprising, sensual scent. It's individual, audacious, stylish and very much on-trend for 2015. If you're a fan of masculine and heady scents, then you'll simply adore this - it's definitely become a favourite of mine over the last few weeks and one I know I'll reach to throughout the spring when I want to create a more sexy aroma. It also helps to add a touch of 'oomph' to other Jo Malone fragrances, especially when worn over something floral or understated.
The five fragrances are available in store now, but they'll only be around for as long as stocks last. What I love about Jo Malone is that they create limited editions that really are limited - once they're gone they're gone, so you have to be quick if you want to nab yourself a bit of history.
