Technology is a big a part of my life as coffee (and that says a lot about my relationship with coffee,) as I rely on it so heavily to keep me connected and on top of my workload. I have too many gadgets to mention, all of which have been purchased to save my mind from carrying too much information and my shoulders from carrying too much baggage. Oh how much stress I could’ve saved if I’d have known about the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet sooner! Combining the best of a computer and tablet in one portable, sleek and shiny package, this is one piece of tech that makes working both from home and on-the-go as easy as pie. I recently committed to staying ahead of the beauty news throughout Awards Season and London Fashion Week, bringing you the top trends and ways to integrate them into your routine. I want to translate what's happening on the red carpet and catwalks, helping you to identify what elements you need to pay attention to and what you can ignore as totally irrelevant; looking good and feeling great starts with fabulous products, but it also ends with the right application and perfect hair style. I've been using the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet to start that journey and this is how I've been getting on...

I’ve been putting this piece of tech to the test over the last few weeks (read my intro post here) and I have to say that it’s a fabulous tablet that really does make being a blogger a doddle. Not only does it look fab, include the super whizzy Windows 8.1 and come with a digital pen that provides hours of entertainment, but I can run all of my Office programmes while blogging at lightening speed. Have a look at the video below to find out my favourite things about the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet and why it could be a worthwhile investment if you’re in the market for something to keep you connected - even if you’re a technophobe. It's really made researching trends, jotting down notes, flicking between web resources and following those in the know on Twitter super simple; it provides the control I need to be running multiple web pages and programmes all at once so I can pull the info together and edit images in lightening speed. I'll be continuing to use it as an essential tool as we approach the Oscars, BAFTAs, Brits, London Fashion Week and so much more - stay tuned for all the downloads following the big events for my take on the trends.
To continue the conversation around the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 Tablet while finding out your top tips for staying organised, I’m going to be hosting a Twitter Q&A on Friday 6th February from 1pm-2pm. Ask me everything from how lightweight the tablet is, to how I stay ahead of the trends and keep my blog updated within such a busy schedule, or join in just to share your tidbits of advice. I'd love to know how you stay organised and how your gadgets help on a day-to-day basis! I’ve also teamed up with the guys at Microsoft to offer one lucky person that takes part £100 in Argos vouchers to spend on their own bit of tech this year. All you have to do is tweet me your questions, comments or tips using the hashtag #SurfaceResolutions and one lucky participant will nab the vouchers to spend on whatever they please! I look forward to chatting with you then.
