We're once again coming up to one of the busiest periods in fashion when British brand Burberry takes centre stage; the world's fashionista's eyeballs are temporarily on London for all of the ten minutes it takes for Burberry to showcase their forthcoming season's trends. Although their shows are always somewhat thrilling (even just to see who's on the front row,) my attention always turns to the beauty... What nail polish are they wearing, what gloss is on their lips and how have they done their hair? If we take a scoot back to this time last year you may remember a multitude of tones and boho-chic making a comeback, all brought together via this quartet of colour. With spring around the corner it's time to finally embrace a pop of coral, a slick of blue or even a touch of green within our otherwise muted wardrobes - and Burberry are here to give us a helping hand.

I'm under no illustion that a Burberry nail polish is anything other than an indulgence and occasional treat for oneself; I know full well you can grab a varnish for a few pounds while popping into Superdurg, but a little glass bottle of luxury just feels so much nicer and ensures your fingers feel fabulous. Collectively these shades really pack a punch and help to update our dreary winter colour palette, but on their own they also make a statement. I'm currently addicted to the bright coral shade that's fabulous on a rainy day, while the teal green is one of my favourite shades of the season. Blue can be hard to wear, but matched with denim or muted tones it can look incredible, while the understated pink is a classic shade that moves you into the next season seamlessly.
The brushes of these polishes are perfectly shaped for application, coating nails with ease and providing a great colour result in only one stroke. Two coats provides a great colour, while three ensures the shade pops - the formula is pigmented but still relatively thin to prevent that horrendous bubbling or thickness that can come with too much polish on a single nail. Burberry do have a tendency to chip quite easily, so the thinness of the formula also makes it much easier to top-up or apply another coat to provide longevity without having to take it all off and start again. (Come on, we all do it! Painting over chips is so SS15.) At £15.00 each these Burberry polishes won't be for everybody, but as a new season treat why-ever not?
