I named the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector lipglosses as one of my most adored products of last year, so it's incredibly exciting that they're extending the range with the launch of six new lip balms that continue the story of their glossy counterparts. These balms offer the same delicate sweet scent that we know and love, combined with a hydrating formula and just a hint of colour to ensure lips look totally juicy. The formula is rich in active plant ingredients, contains nourishing mango, moisturising shea, Vitamin E and natural peptides which encourage the synthesis of hyaluronic acid to boost hydration over the long-term while helping to nourish lips in the short term; these aren't just lip balms, but lip balms with serious power.

The Instant Light Lip Balm Perfectors look amazing, feel luxurious and are totally addictive. I had hugely high expectations of these after seeing pictures floating around Instagram, and I wasn't disappointed. Although these are incredibly pricey at £18.00 each, these aren't any ordinary lip product - they offer my lips incredible comfort, a subtle gloss and just a tint of colour that removes the need for any other product underneath. If you're a fan of the Benebalms from Benefit, then you'll love these new additions to the Clarins portfolio; they're a similar concept, but much more elegant and offer a hydrating benefit that's much more intense.
I love the delicate and precise angle of the tip, ensuring you can apply it on-the-go when you're nowhere near a mirror and still look fabulous - bonus. The packaging is more accustomed to a lipstick than a balm, so you're getting a little bit of luxury with your glossy balm. These are definitely my new fave lip product and I'm incredibly glad they lived up to my expectations; if you can't quite justify £18.00 on a lip balm, then definitely add it to the list of approved gifts for the forthcoming Valentines season!
Are you keen to try these new balms from Clarins? Are you a fan of the original Light Perfectors?
