At any one time I have at least five different balms, glosses and lipsticks in my bag - it's the one element of beauty that I take with me wherever I go. I can happily leave behind my compact powder, eyeliner and hand cream, but I simply can't step out of the house without various options with which to coat my lips. Over the last year or so there have been oodles of fabulous lip products landing on my desk, but these three are the ones I've loved to death and adore more than any others. Consisting of a lipstick, gloss and cream stain, there's something for every lip desire.

1. YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush (£27.00)
A rather controversial launch initially, this is definitely a love it or loathe it product. Sold as a lip and cheek multi-functional product, realistically it just doesn't work on cheeks - but it's really quite lovely on lips. The creamy air-whipped formula provides a luminous matte finish and build-able colour for a very understated and sophisticated look; if you love the thought of lipstick but the finish puts you off, then this is a great alternative. I love the applicator which provides a precise and comfortable application, as well as the fact that the formula dries to leave a touch of stain on your lips. It's a great 'every day' product that bridges the gap between all my other lip loves.
2. Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector (£16.20)
Possibly my favourite lipgloss of all time, these sweet scented tubes of loveliness contain the smoothness and most comfortable formula that I simply can't get enough of. The precise and angled foam applicator ensures minimal wastage, removing the need for 're-dipping' that can transfer bacteria; it also provides the perfect amount of product to ensure your lips look truly kissable. The formula itself is rich, non-sticky, hydrating and comfortable - there's something about these that I can't compare to anything else I've tried, paired with the understated trio of colours available that suit every skin tone. A total lust have.
3. NARS Audacious Lipsticks (£24.00)
Available in a breathtaking spectrum of colour, these lipsticks are utterly divine. Providing a seriously intense shade result and slight sheen to give lips a fuller appearance, the bullet even has an embossed logo to make the product even more special. I love the fact NARS have reformulated their lipsticks to ensure comfort and longevity is the top of the list, without compromising on the result. Available in every shade imaginable, I personally love the dark reds and berry tones that make me feel uber glam. Although you can get oodles of lipsticks for a fraction of the price, the Audacious collection comes with just a touch of glamour that's incomparable.
