Definition, Length & Volume: No7 Midnight Lash Mascara

I have a love-hate relationship with No7. Some products I adore and can't get enough of, whereas others leave me bitterly disappointed and wondering where it all went wrong. They've launched some kick-ass mascaras in their time, but they've also released some damp squibs that do little more for my lashes than an actual damp squib. Happily though, their latest launch is really rather pleasing - providing definition, length and a touch of volume. 'Midnight Lash' mascara is pretty fab for the party season, but works equally well as a daytime treat for lashes by leaving them looking naturally full and your eyes wide awake.


The unusual shaped brush helps to catch lashes and lift them, without overloading your lashline with product and causing clumps. I really like the way it defines my lashes to ensure they look their absolute best, while adding serious length that helps my eyes to pop; although Midnight Lash claims to provide 'spectacular volume', added volume is actually the last thing on the list when you come to apply it. The thin tip at the head of the brush helps coat tiny lashes at the edge of your lashline and on your lower lid, helping to ensure a really natural finish. This isn't bad at all for a high street mascara, especially as the formula doesn't flake or smudge - it's definitely one to check out when the inevitable No7 vouchers come around again in the coming weeks.
