If there was one thing I'd pay a small fortune to rectify, then it would be the dark circles and discolouration underneath my eyes. As soon as I have a dodgy nights sleep it appears underneath my eyes like a bad reminder of a nightmare; there's no escaping the grey tones, dull skin and sagging area that meets the top of my cheeks. I'm always on the hunt for eye creams that will not only improve the appearance of this delicate skin area over time, but also provide instant relief and help reduce my dependence upon heavy duty concealer. I've been trying out a number of eye creams over the last few months, but this little gem from Lulu's skincare range 'Time Bomb' has beaten them all hands down. Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue eye cream is lightweight and quickly absorbed, leaving under-eye circles feeling tighter and instantly brighter.

Thanks to the clinically tested formula, this eye cream helps to reflect the light and provide the appearance of brighter eyes while simultaneously neutralising dark areas. Even on the mornings where I look like a truck parked underneath each eye overnight, a dab of this can help plump skin and make me look much more awake. The formula contains Vitamin B3 to promote blood flow and prevent accumulation that often appears as darkness, Horse Chestnut Extract which diminishes swelling and acts as an anti-inflammatory, Chia Oil to improve skin quality and suppleness, Caffeine to speed blood flow and help skin look brighter, as well as a melanin inhibitor to counteract hyperpigmentation and discolouration.
I adore the fact I can apply a dab of this, add a touch of serum to my face and get on with styling my hair, knowing that within a few minutes my eyes will look ten times better. The Black Ops Dark Circle Rescue means I only need a small amount of concealer to even out my skin tone, rather than a shovel and a pot of thick gloopy beige stuff. At £36.00 for a small tube it's certainly not cheap, but I could honestly say I would re-purchase this in a second as soon as it runs out - very few eye creams leave me wanting more, rather than moving on to the next thing, but this ensures just that.
